Chief Investment Officer

Chris Combs is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Silicon Valley Capital Partners. SVCP is the advisor to the Global Strategy Funds, a leading provider of separate account lifestyle funds for individuals. Chris is the architect of SVCP's proprietary cycle strategy and fundamental analysis initiative.

Chris began his career in 1985 on an academic executive training scholarship with U.S. Bank.  Over the next 10 years, Chris would serve in various capacities including credit analysis, trust services, branch banking operations and distribution system productivity planning.

During his tenure at U.S. Bank, Chris was first exposed to advanced asset allocation in 1992 through an assignment with renowned MIT Sloan School of Management professor Dr. H David Sherman, and shortly thereafter he built his first asset allocation algorithm for U.S. Bank.

In 1994 Chris started his own investment firm, franchised through American Express, which would eventually become SVCP.  Chris and his analyst team continue to build advanced algorithms designed to improve portfolio performance potential at reduced risk levels. Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Finance Law from Portland State University, 1992.
